Law, Health, and Technology in Dialogue
I regularly give invited talks at universities, academic conferences, professional associations, and policy forums on the legal, ethical, and societal implications of artificial intelligence in healthcare. My presentations aim to make complex issues accessible across disciplines, while fostering dialogue between scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. In addition to academic speaking, I also contribute to public debate through radio, podcasts, and newspaper interviews, sharing insights on AI, health, and human rights with a broader audience.
Key themes include:
- Artificial Intelligence and Patients’ Rights: protecting patients’ rights in the age of medical AI.
- The EU Artificial Intelligence Act in Healthcare: an overview of the consequences of the EU AI Act
- AI and ‘vulnerable’ groups in health: the need for standards and regulation for health equity.
I welcome invitations to speak at conferences, symposia, workshops, and academic seminars, as well as to contribute to radio, podcasts, and print media. If you are interested in discussing a keynote, panel contribution, guest lecture, or interview, please feel free to send me an e-mail.
